This week the Tenney girls have both felt the sting and subsequent pain from getting a shot. I went on Tuesday to get my flu shot and yesterday Morgan had to get her 4 month battery of shots. It always amazes me that my arm hurts more the NEXT day....Morgan, however, seems to be a much better sport than Mama and hasn't complained about her legs today at all. They are still a little red and I am sure they are sore, but she's a trooper! We both stayed home yesterday for a snuggle-fest to help our aching limbs.

Shots are the worst. I'm glad Morgan is taking them in stride! I think it's harder for the moms than the babies - they always make me hold Hannah down so she's looking at my face lovingly until she's stabbed several times, and of course since I'm the one she's looking at, she probably blames me!
I agree that it's harder for Mamas...I was so worried about her shots I had an upset stomach! I hate holding her down. I know she won't remember it when she gets older, but it still is hard now. I am just thankful that I have a relatively healthy child. My dad said he had to hold me down once so the doctors could put an IV in my NECK! Someone else will have to do that if we ever need that procedure done.
Awww... (((hugs))) for both of you! I hate holding my babies down for shots. :(
