Even though Memorial Day is a rememberance of those war heros who have died defending our nation's freedom, most Americans take this day to remember all of those in their lives who have passed away. While we didn't actually visit the cemetary today, Morgan and I did take a moment to visit my grandparents' gravesite very near our house. Morgan has been there once before, but she really liked feeling the stone and touching the flowers.
To all the American heros who made the ultimate sacrifice, thank you.
To those who continue to fight for those who cannot, our family prays for your safety.
And to Grandpa Hiram, Granny Evelyn, Grandma Lee, Grandpa Rege, and all the rest of the family members who are with the Lord, we miss you.
