I'm a friend of Catherine's and I was reading the comments on her blog and accidentally clicked on your profile and saw where you are from and had to write. My parents live in Garards Fort, PA in Greene County. I grew up in Fayette County and my parents moved to Greene county when I was in grad school. My brother went to WVU for grad school (and worked there too) and is a huge mountaineer fan (he charged his life away to go to the last two bowl games...oh, to be young...) Anyway, I live in DC and knew Catherine when she lived here after college. So I just thought I'd say hi and I feel your pain about the weather in SWPA or what I like to call, almost, almost heaven...:) So are you in Pt. Marion?
Hi! No, actually we live in Mt. Morris, which is in Greene County. I am sure your parents don't live too far from me! Catherine and I went to high school together in Germany. I see your comments on her blog all the time. It is nice to hear from a fellow Pennsylvanian....my father is originally from Mt. Morris and my mother is from Pittsburgh, so even though I was an Air Force kid with no real "home" I consider PA/WV as my home. And your brother has GREAT taste in schools!!! :)
