This dogwood was planted a few years ago for my grandmother. After she passed away in 2005 we thought my father killed it with his heavy saturation of weed killer on our lawn. It has not bloomed since 2004. This year, as you can see, it is in full bloom, and is lovely. Dad is off the hook for being a tree killer (although he still has the title of the "Mad Pruner") and we are really enjoying this tree. Even through the snow (!!!) this week it has been beautiful.

That is so beautiful! Don't you just love spring?! You give me hope on a couple of my flowring bushes that I think we might have killed...maybe they will bloom one of these days. :)
