Celebration on the farm

Over the weekend we traveled to my in-laws' house in central WV to help celebrate our niece Julia's third birthday. It was a small family party, since Juila's big party is this coming weekend, closer to her birthday on September 28th. We had a beautiful day and a good time watching Morgan and Julia. And I ate the best chili I have ever eaten! My mother-in-law, Janet, makes the best chili IN THE WORLD. Seriously, this woman can cook. But I digress...

Morgan, waiting for Julia to wake up from her nap.
Our beautiful Birthday Girl, Julia Alesse

Mama and Baby

The Blount Family

Such a beauty

She literally dove right in!

The see-saw was not a present, but LOADS of fun!

Morgan got a few gifts too, including jewels like Julia.

Hoping for a morsel...
My sister-in-law, Amy, and Baby Kole (every time I talk about Amy, Morgan has to add "and Baby Kole!"). Isn't she gorgeous??

Morgan was attempting to see why her horn wouldn't blow.

I wish these days would last forever....they are amused by the simplest things.

My father-in-law Charlie, proud of himself for blowing the horn hard enough to get an echo off the mountains.

Now that's a serious threat to my ice cream!

Patrick's attempt to take a picture up his nose...don't ask because I have no explanation!

This is my "You'd better not be taking my picture" face....but I like how it shows off my new hairdo, so I thought I'd include it :)

It is always so nice to go to my in-laws and grandparents-in laws' houses. Although I love "medium city living", the peacefulness of the country works wonders on frazzled nerves. I can't believe both girls are already three (well close enough) and my nephew will be here in 10 weeks or so! My how quickly time flies.
