This afternoon Morgan participated in her preschool's annual Trike-A-Thon. All of the money raised by the kids goes directly to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. All last week Morgan's class learned about bike safety, the services of St. Jude's, and how riding their bikes was going to help sick kids maybe ride their own bikes one day.
Each class rode for about 15 minutes, although Morgan didn't quite participate that long. She wasn't too happy pedaling by herself, so Daddy had to help her out most of the laps. Mama tried to help, but all I managed to do was wreck her! Morgan's friends Cameron and Ashlyn were there and the girls went around to the other games collecting prizes and being silly.
The day was topped off by an appearance by Miss Tea Cup, the face-painting clown. Morgan got roses painted on her arm. She was quite proud!
Overall Morgan raised over $150.00 for St. Jude's. We are glad to have been able to participate in such a great event. Morgan understands that she got to help other kids today, and that makes her happy (or so she tells me!). Thanks to all who donated to the event!

Papa and Mutti are proud of you, Morgan, for helping the sick children at St. Jude's. Mama used to babysit a little boy by the name of Connor who was at St. Jude's. Your participation will help so many children. Good for you!
