My new digital camera arrived on Tuesday! I was so excited to open the box and get everything out. I still haven't figured out how to get the pictures to download from the camera so there is a minor snag in my picture taking system. But I did put the camera card in my old (and still useful) Kodak, so you can see how the pictures look in 9.0 megapixels (ooohh, aaahh). Acutally, I don't care about the megapixels (and don't really know if these were taken at the highest resolution), I wanted more zoom, which I got when I switched from a 4x to a 10x zoom.
The first picture I took.....the camera is obviously VERY sensitive to movements by the photographer! I'll have to get used to this!
Ah, second time around was much better.

With the 4GB camera card I also got, I can currently take 1,652 photographs! Some might laugh, others are probably groaning because they'll have to look at more pictures :)
